We cut out the plants that we wanted and dipped it in the hormone. We then planted the plants and once they grow the exact same plant will come out. MARISSA!!
3/8/2010 Im writing an entry for two gardening sessions. On friday we planted Thyme, Wild Iris and Poppy's. We used fresh soil and planted them in plants. Once they grow (if they grow) they will be used in our plant sale later on in the year. Today in class we read a text about Planting and transplanting. It taught us about how to make cuttings on plants. We use hormone and put them on the roots for a new plant to grow. MARISSA!!
23/7/2010 2nd entry-gardening journal Today in gardening class we got potting mix and planted some plants. We worked in groups and each had a go at planting plants. Hopefully they will grow. We then had to water the pots, and hopefully we will notice changes in the plants soon. MARISSA!!
20/7/2010 First entry- gardening journal. This is my first entry. I have learnt tools that you can use in a garden and while planting. I learnt about how compost can a help a garden. It helps keep the soil healthy!!!! We are going to make an entry every week about what we have learnt. We are looking forward to learning more things about the garden, and hopefully we can apply it to our own garden at home. We went to the garden and pulled out some vegetables. I took home a dragon carrot. MARISSA!!
